With the core mission of bringing visitors back downtown and away from the chain restaurants lining the neighboring highway; Johnson instinctively knew a New York-style pizza always draws a crowd.
After nearly 30 years of combined professional brewing and restaurant experience, Kevin and Emmaline Kozak both longed to open a local spot of their own. Simultaneously, Johnson had the idea to open a brewpub at 103 S. Wright Street in Burgaw.
